- Change of bed linen
Our standard is to change the bed linen every three days (after the 2nd night of your stay). To have your linen changed sooner, please leave a request at the Reception or at our Housekeeper.
- Souvenirs
Our hotel offers a wide selection of souvenirs for that special someone at home. Have a look at the gifts in the vitrine next to the Reception.
- Gift voucher
Surprise your beloved ones with a gift voucher. All you have to do is to follow the steps online (wwwvillahotel.hu/ajandekutalvany/). Once the amount of the voucher has been paid, the gift voucher will be sent to you or to your loved one via post or – upon request – online in PDF format.
Give a dining experience to your friends with a lunch or dinner voucher, which is ideal for any occasion. The (5.000 HUF or 10.000 HUF value) gift voucher can be ordered either online (as mentioned above) or personally at the Reception.
- Rooms for Guests with limited mobility
Unfortunately wheelchair accessible hotel rooms for disabled Guests are not available in our hotel, however, we can offer our easily accessible ground floor rooms for our partially disabled Guests. Besides our wheelchair accessible lift provides access to all levels of the hotel.
- Animals/Pets
Animals are not allowed in our hotel. Thank you for understanding.
- Debrecen Zoo and Amusement Park
The Zoo is open all year long.
The Amusement Park is open between 15th March and 31st October.

- Anti-allergy and ergonomic pillow
Upon request we provide our Guests with anti-allergy or with ergonomic pillow either at the Reception or at our Housekeeper (for a charge of 500 HUF/piece/night).

10.Automated Teller Machine (ATM)
The closest ATM (OTP Bank Ltd.) is located near the entrance of the Aquaticum Hotel in the neighbourhood.
- Aquaticum Thermal and Spa&Meditarrean Aqua Park and Sauna Centre
Our hotel can offer all-day entrance tickets to the Aquaticum Thermal and Spa venue at a discounted price. The ticket is a daily ticket and allows ONE (!) entrance/per day per visitor. The all-day entrance ticket gives access both to the „Mediterranean Aqua Park and Sauna Centre” as well as to the „Aquaticum Thermal Baths and Sauna World”.
This entrance ticket DOES NOT gives access to the Aquaticum Debrecen SPA/Public Bath.
- Aquaticum Debrecen SPA/Public Bath
The renewed public bath located in the heart of the Great Forest is surrounded by lush greenery and it is close to the Sports Stadium, the Open Air Theatre and Water Tower venue. The new bath has 15 pools, a waterfall, 4 slides for adults (and 3 slides for babies) and a 12-meter-high sun terrace.
- Credit card
Besides cash and bank transfer in our hotel we accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX and Maestro cards as well.
- Check-in
Check in time is from 2PM onwards (changes may apply for guests with online reservation through „www.szallas.hu” or for guests with special packages).
- Bus Parking
However there is an open-air parking lot behind our hotel, it is recommended for tourist buses to park on the „access road” so that the passengers can hop on-hop off easily and the luggage and other items can be loaded into and out of the bus seamlessly.
- Shoe shine machine
The shoe shine machine is placed in the lobby and can be used by our guests free of charge. It serves the purpose of cleaning and polishing the surface of the (light or dark coloured) shoes.
- Confectionery
The closest confectionery named „Mandula Cukrászda” is a 10-minute-walk from our hotel, located at 23 Ember Pál street.

- Luggage Storage Service
Upon early arrival or late departure our Guests have the opportunity to leave their luggage and other items at the Reception without any additional fee. The luggage will be stored in the storage room.

- Supermarket
The closest supermarket called „Coop” is located at 39 Simonyi street, a 2 minutes walk from our hotel.
- In-room safe and Front Desk Safety Deposit Box
However all our nonsmoking hotel rooms are equipped with an in-room safe, is it also possible to keep Guests’ valuables at the Front Desk Safety Deposit Box, free of charge.
- High chair for babies
In order to make sure that our little ones are safe and stay comfortable during breakfast, lunch and dinner, Krúdy Restaurant offers high chairs for them.
- Copying and scanning services
We offer business services (copying and scanning) 0-24 at our Reception, free of charge.
- Bath robe
Upon request bath robe is available at the Reception or at the Housekeeper’s Office.
- Kids menu
Our kid’s menu has tasty options for the little ones (country-style broth with shell-shaped pastry, fried breaded chicken breast with rice and peas, pancakes etc.).
- Baby cot
Upon request we provide a travel bed for babies/toddlers. This modern travel cot is easy to fold and has large viewing windows made of net fabric. (Recommended use: until the age of 3.)
- Pharmacy
The closest pharmacy is located in Aquaticum Hotel, in the neighborhood of Villa Hotel****.

- Hairdryer
All our bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer.
- Backyard door
Our parking lot can easily be accessed by our Guests through the backyard door, opened with the room magnet card. This backyard entrance door gives an easy access to the parking cars in order to onload/upload the luggage quickly and to enter the hotel at night.
- Cold breakfast package
Upon early check out (before 7AM) we provide a cold breakfast package as per Guest request. Please make a request at the Reception desk the night before departure.
- Tourist tax
The room prices do NOT include the tourist tax, which is 400 HUF/person/night for all Guests above the age of 18 and it is payable on the spot.
- Internet
Our Guests have free access to the hotel’s wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi) which is available both in the public areas and in the rooms. The password for the Wi-Fi is: almafa50.
- Internet corner
Internet access is also available (for those who do NOT possess a smartphone) in our internet room located near the hotel lobby. We kindly ask our Guests to accompany children under 12 while using the internet in the internet room. Thank you for understanding.
- Playground
There is a playground in the hotel’s neighbourhood next to „Lake Frog” which is an ideal place for free time activities for children. However, for very active kids we recommend the playground named „Ötholdas Pagony” („The 5 acred wood”), which is a huge park in the Great Forest Area, 5-10 minutes walk from our hotel (19 Nagyerdei körút).
- Bike storage spot
There is a bicycle storage spot right close to the entrance door of our restaurant.
- Check out procedure
Hotel Guests are kindly requested to leave the room til 11AM on the day of departure (check out time might be different for those Guests who booked their rooms through the website „szallas.hu”). Upon late check out (leaving the room by 4PM) 40% of the room rate will be charged. Any checkouts after 4 PM will be charged at a full day’s regular room rate. Please inform the Reception about the late check out requests in advance.
- Designated smoking area
Smoking is not permitted, except in the designated smoking areas (near the entrance of the hotel and near the entrance of the restaurant). Thank you for understanding.
- Care and hygiene products
Guests can purchase extra cosmetics and toiletries (shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaver, lip balm) at the Reception Desk.
- Restaurant Krúdy
Our elegant, air conditioned Krúdy Restaurant with a maximum capacity for 50 pax is open all year long Mon-Sat from 11:30 AM til 11 PM, Sun 11:30 AM – 9 PM. Our drink menu includes both wide varieties of hot drinks, shots, various types of beer and cocktails as well.
- Air conditioning
The public areas and all the hotel rooms are equipped with AC.
- Elevator
The elevator helps to reach the upper rooms and the ballroom downstairs easily, without using the stairs.
- Lobby
Guests are welcome to consume their hot or cold drinks in the lobby and by restructuring the lobby furniture seating is also provided for smaller groups to relax/hang out.
- Magnetic card
Our Guests receive a magnetic card upon check-in, which allows Guests to open their hotel room easily.
There is another magnetic card which is already placed in a card holder on the wall in the hotel room on the day of arrival and it enables electricity in the room. Please DO NOT remove this card from the card slot so that the electricity can work properly in the room without interruption.
It is not necessary to leave the card at the Reception every time you go out, but please be aware that the key card must be returned to our Receptionists upon check-out. The magnetic cards open the backyard door as well.
Since the magnetic cards are coded only for the period of the guest’s stay, they are deactivated on the day of departure (check-out) at 11AM.
- Stationery (letters, note pads, envelopes)
The stationery items in the rooms are prepared for our Guests and can be used free of charge.
- Massage
The Lillavadi Massage Salon welcomes guests inside the Aquaticum Mediterranean Aquapark.

- Minibar
All our nonsmoking rooms are equipped with a minibar. Minibar consumption will be paid by our Guests latest upon check-out.
- Mobile charger
Certain types of mobile chargers are available at the Reception, please feel free to contact our Receptionists in order to charge your mobile devices. Mobile chargers must be returned latest upon check out.
- Laundry service
Laundry (washing and ironing) service can also be requested by our Guests as well by placing the dirty clothes in the laundry bag and handing it over either to the Reception or to our Housekeeper. The laundry is open every day.
- Tobacco store
The nearest tobacco store is located at the „Klinikák” tram stop („Clinics”).

- „DO NOT DISTURB.” sign
Hanging the „DO NOT DISTURB” sign outside the door indicates that the Guest does not wish to be disturbed (therefore it means that no housekeeping service is requested on that particular day).

- Slippers
Upon request we provide our guests with a pair of disposable hotel slippers. Please make your request either at the Reception or at the Housekeeper.
- Parking
Free parking is available for our Guests in an open-air parking lot with CCTV cameras behind our hotel. Upon check-in our Receptionist provides each Guest a parking card. During your stay please place your parking card behind the windshield and on the day of departure please hand it back to the Receptionist.
- Money exchange
The closest money exchange is either in Debrecen Plaza (18. Péterfia street) or in Forum Shopping Center (30 Csapó street).
- Post office
The nearest post box is located at the tram stop in front of the entrance of the Thermal Bath.
The closest post office nearby is ont he territory of the Clinical Center (98 Nagyerdei körút).

- Extra bed
There is a possibilty to use an extra bed in our superior twin rooms and in the family room. The extra bed is suitable both for adults and for children as well, the price is 7.000 HUF/night, in high season it is 8.000 HUF/night.
- Projector and screen
For corporate events – upon request – we offer projector, screen and audio visual system.
- Radio
Our Guests can easily listen to their favourite radio stations on the Tv.
- Reception
Our Reception remains at our Guests’ disposal 24/7. Our friendly, multilingual staff is happy to assist our Guests in:
- providing Safety Deposit Box for guest valuables

- luggage storage
- checking in and checking out of the hotel
- concierge services (providing information about current programs in the city)

- Buffet breakfast
We offer buffet breakfast for our Guests every morning from 7AM til 10AM. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Walk-in guests also have the opportunity to consume breakfast in our restaurant. The buffet breakfast is 2.600 HUF, one hot breakfast meal of the guest’s choice (scrambled eggs, egg sunny side up, omelette etc.) is 750 HUF.

- IT troubleshooting
Our front desk officers are ready to help you 24/7 in computer related problems (IT troubleshooting).
- Sauna
The Finnish Sauna is located in the wellness house behind the hotel. The sauna can be used by the hotels Guests free of charge.
Hours of operation: 7AM-9PM.
Our 5-6 person sauna is equipped with a shower cabin, a washbasin and sauna shower bucket. The sauna is switched off at 9PM, therefore we would like to ask our Guests to make a request at the Reception Desk 30 minutes prior to the expected use.
- Sauna sheets and towels
We offer sauna sheets and towels – free of charge – for our Guest whilst using the wellness house.
- Special requests
We fulfill our guests’ special requests like flower arrangements, chocolate or champagne (for an additional fee).
- Széchenyi Leisure (SZÉP) card
We accept both in our hotel and in our restaurant the Széchenyi („SZÉP”) Card (K&H, MKB, OTP). The Tourism Tax (IFA) can not be paid with the „SZÉP” Card, only with cash or by credit card.
- Szindbad banquet room (70 pax)
Our banquet room (named after Sindbad the Sailor) is ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, business meetings and corporate events. Upon request we offer projector, screen and audio visual system.
- Hotel room amenities
We provide everything you need to gently nourish your skin and hair, complimentary toiletries include: shampoo, shower gel and soap.
- In-room safe
There is an in-room safe in every hotel room, where our Guests can keep their valuables safe. The in-room safe can be opened and locked with a 4 digit code, chosen by the Guest.

- Mosquito repellent products
In summertime mosquito repellent is provided in each room to keep it a mosquito free zone. In case you need more mosquito repellent products, please contact our Reception („100”).
- „Make up room” sign
Place the „Please make up room” sign on the outside door handle so that the housekeeper may begin cleaning the room as soon as possible. Hotel housekeeping shifts are often between the hours of 8:00AM and 2:00PM
If the „Do not disturb” sign is on the outside door handle, the housekeeper does NOT enter the room on that particular day.
- Lost&found items
Please contact our Reception regarding Lost and Found items. After identifying features of the lost item it will be sent back to the Guest via post free of charge. Valuable items can only be sent with Cash on Delivery (COD) service.
- Board games
Your family is looking for a fun way to pass a rainy afternoon? There are a couple of board games available at the Reception for our Guests to borrow and to take to their room.
- Extra pillow
Upon request an extra pillow is provided free of charge for our Guests.
- Extra blanket
Guests can request an extra blanket at the Receptionor at the Housekeeper, free of charge.
- Taxi service
Our Receptionists are happy to assist you in ordering a taxi when needed (+36 52 444 444).
- In room telephone
All the rooms are equipped with a telephone.
In room telephones can not be used for international calls, in this case please contact our Front Office Team. The local phone code of Debrecen is „52”.
- Teletext
All in-room televisions offer „teletext” information service, where a range of text based information is being provided including news, weather, Tv programme guide and subtitle.

Our terrace is open from beginning May til end October. Smoking is allowed in the terrace.

- Public transport
Bus lines
Information of the scheduled bus services is available on www.dkv.hu website.
The closest bus station is located in front of the „Clinics” („Klinikák” bus station). The bus tickets can be purchased at our Reception for 350 HUF. Single tickets are also available from the driver onboard for the price of 450 HUF. Children under the age of 6 and citizens aged 65+ travel on all bus lines free of charge.
Tram lines
There are two tram stops located near our hotel. One of them is situated in front of the entrance of the Aquaticum Thermal Bath, the other one is right next to Palma Restaurant (the latter provides faster access to the city center). There are 2 tram lines in Debrecen, Line 1 runs around the Great Forest.
Single tickets are available at our Front Desk (350 HUF), at the COOP supermarket nearby (350 HUF) and onboard from the tram driver as well (450 HUF). Children under the age of 6 and citizens aged 65+ travel on all tram lines free of charge.
- Towel changing policy
Replacement of towels is done upon request or (latest) every 2 days. Please bear in mind that we are an environmentally friendly hotel so please throw the used towel on the bathroom floor only if the replace is necessary.
- Sewing kit
Upon request our hotel offers a sewing kit for our Guests.
- Sewing services
Our hotel provides sewing services (smaller reapir works such as sewing a button) free of charge from Monday til Sunday between 8AM til 2PM, please submit your request at our Housekeeper.
- Shopping opportunities
There are 2 large shopping malls in Debrecen both situated in the center of the city:
- Debrecen Plaza (18 Péterfia street)
- Forum Shopping Mall (30 Csapó street)
Besides the city offers puppet shows for the little ones and other free time activities like pastry shops and many boutiques nearby the shopping centers in Kálvin square.
